Brent Van Deysen picture

Brent L. Van Deysen, Attorney at Law

Mr. Van Deysen is a graduate of the West Virginia University College of Law where he earned his law degree. Mr. Van Deysen is also a graduate of Fairmont State College where he earned a baccalaureate degree in accounting. He is a member of the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys (NAELA) and is an accredited attorney authorized to handle claims before the Veterans Administration. He is also a member of the West Virginia State Bar. Mr. Van Deysen volunteers his time for many worthy causes that benefit seniors and their caregivers. He is a past member of the Board of Directors of Monongalia County’s Senior Center, and Senior Monongalians Inc., where he also served as Board President during 2009 and 2010. Van Deysen Law Office, PLLC is a corporate sponsor of the Alzheimer’s Association Memory Walk held each spring in Morgantown, West Virginia to raise awareness about Alzheimer‘s disease and the on-going battle to find a cure. Upon graduation from high school, Mr. Van Deysen enlisted in the United States Air Force. He currently resides in Monongalia County, West Virginia with his wife Angela, two children, Ashley and Jack, and their dog Alden.

John Krouse, Marketing & Outreach

John was born and raised on a farm in rural NW Ohio. After college he went to work for IBM Corporation where he worked in marketing for 32 years in Chicago, Toledo, Cincinnati, Erie, Lexington, Pittsburgh, and Morgantown. Upon retiring from IBM he became the CEO/Executive Director of PACE Enterprises, a community rehabilitation program in Morgantown providing vocational rehabilitation for persons with disabilities. After eight years at PACE, he resumed retirement briefly before becoming the part-time Marketing Director for the Hancock Community Sheltered Workshop in Weirton.

In 2010, John joined the Van Deysen Law team to assist with marketing. He greatly enjoys providing critically needed services to the elderly, persons with disabilities, and US Veterans.

He has been an active member of Rotary for more than 50 years and has served on boards at PACE TEC, Valley Health Care, Goodwill of Pittsburgh, Goodwill of North Central WV, and Senior Monongalians.

John has been in Morgantown West Virginia for 31 years where he raised two sons, Eric and Lance. John has two grandsons and two granddaughters.
